My summer has been.... in one word?
Busy.
But I've loved every second of it.
June started out with stake Youth Conference. One of the funnest activities of my life. I got to hang out with my amazing ward and learned that a lot of my friends are in my stake. I also learned that a lot of band kids are in my stake too. :)
The next week was my birthday. :) I am now sixteen years old and can legally drive all by myself. My first driving experience was taking my little sister, Erica, to Daylight Donuts. No one died and I didn't hit any cars. Go me.
The day after my birthday, my family and I went to a REAL Salt Lake game. My dad bought me a super cool jersey and it really made me happy. :) One Republic was supposed to perform after the game... but they didn't. :/ Also, one of RSL's midfielders had dreadlocks and I can really want to get them after guard is over. :) Mi madre said I could. Heehee.
Next up. Band ED camp. Everyday. Outside. In the 90 degree heat. Gotta love it.
Plus... getting tan isn't that bad. :) Practice parades around the neighborhoods around AF High. I'm sure they loved our beautiful music and performance. :)
Then came the first parade of the season. We totally owned Lehi. No offenses to all you Lehi fans. :)

Welcome to Summer.
Here is to starting off summer!!

Pretty crazy, huh? And that isn't even the strongest. It is pretty epic.
And our beautiful American Fork canyon!
Color guard starts this week! I'm so stoked. We are going to start preparing for the Lehi Roundup Parade on June 25. Woot!

I'm so glad that sophomore is over. But then again, I'm very peeved. I loved this year! I made amazing friends, made an amazing yearbook (I'm so proud of my baby), and made color guard (something I had never heard of until Homecoming game). I don't want that all to be over. But finals and grades really got to me at the end of the year, and I needed a break.
So summer came to my rescue. Along with summer seminary. And 7Peaks. And my license (which I will retrieve on the 17th). And guard practice like every other day. And church activities. And parades. And friends. And and and... the list can go on forever. You get the picture. All I need now is for it to start. Officially. Starting with Youth Conference.
I am so excited for youth conf. It is with the stake and I have so many friends in the stake! This entire weekend is basically going to be a party. I'm stoked.
